About This Hackathon
The Deep Dive into Blockchain 2026 Student Selection Program is a competitive selection process organized by Dar Blockchain in collaboration with the University of Zurich Blockchain Center and** The Hashgraph Association**.
The program aims to identify and select 25 top-performing students from Middle East & Africa.
to participate in the 7th edition of the DDiB International Summer School at either the University of Zurich (Switzerland) or Stellenbosch University (South Africa).
Candidates will be evaluated based on three primary considerations: their proficiency in blockchain technology as demonstrated through the structured modules on the 4Hacks platform, their performance in certifications provided by The Hashgraph Association and a review of their academic records.
The highest-scoring candidates will be selected for the 25 available positions.

✔ Eligibility Requirements
This program is open to university students and recent graduates who demonstrate a strong commitment to pursuing further academic education. Applicants should be based in the Middle East & Africa and are kindly requested to meet the following eligibility criteria:

Be currently enrolled as an advanced Bachelor, Master, or early PhD student at a recognized university

Reside in a middle Eastern or an African country at the time of application

Complete the two mandatory Blockchain & Hedera Certification

A strong academic track record at your university is an important factor in the selection process

Having a previous blockchain certification from any blockchain program, or proof of participation in any blockchain-related hackathon or initiative, is considered a plus in the selection process
✔ Submission Guidelines
- Subscribe to the Hedera Membership Program (link provided in the Resources section below)
- Complete the blockchain fundamentals Course (DLTC-BF101) course on 4hacks learn and obtain your certification (Registration Commencement: April 17, 2026)
- Complete the Hedera Certified Foundation (HCF) course and obtain your certification
- Submit your application on the 4Hacks platform with the following:
- Proof of enrollment at your university (student card or enrollment certificate)
- Your academic transcript or most recent gradesYour HCF and HCDA certification scores
- Proof of Hedera Membership Program subscription
- (Optional) Any previous blockchain certifications or proof of participation in Dar Blockchain programs/hackathons
