International Summer School Program 2026

The Deep Dive into Blockchain 2026 Student Selection Program is a competitive preselection process organized by Dar Blockchain in collaboration with the University of Zurich Blockchain Center and The Hashgraph Association.

The program identifies and selects 25 top-performing students from the Middle East and Africa to participate in the 7th edition of the Deep Dive into Blockchain (DDiB) International Summer School, hosted at either the University of Zurich (Switzerland) or Stellenbosch University (South Africa).

About the DDiB Summer School

The Deep Dive into Blockchain Summer School is an official program of the University of Zurich, created and hosted by the UZH Blockchain Center, a world-leading educational institution in the blockchain space. Participants receive both a recognized certificate and academic credits upon completion.

Now in its 7th edition, the program is globally recognized and has welcomed participants from more than 65 countries across previous editions. Each year, it brings together 60+ lecturers and covers three core pillars:

• Technology
• Economics and Business
• Governance and Regulation

Participants also gain exposure to a wide range of blockchain platforms through case studies, guest sessions, and hands-on work.

This initiative is supported by The Hashgraph Association and Dar Blockchain, ensuring strong regional engagement and outreach across the Middle East and Africa.

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be evaluated based on three primary considerations:

1. Their proficiency in blockchain technology, as demonstrated through the structured modules on the 4Hacks platform.
2. Their performance in certifications provided by The Hashgraph Association.
3. A review of their academic records.

The highest-scoring candidates will be selected for the 25 available positions.
